Jonathan Wilen is a Jamacia Plain/Boston-based artist specializing in patterns, letters, and nature. Patterns inspire, excite and can offer infinite possibilities rooted in history and cultural communication. His fascination with letters began in his adolescence, drawing and creating fonts in Illustrator. Letters in art uplift communities and communicate across generations. While nature is fundamental, urban upbringing can disconnect one from it. Representing nature in urban areas reminds us of our origins and values. Jonathan hopes to bring all these elements together to create, inspire and maintain a resilient community of creators.
